BIO
Brandon Bell (he/him/his) is a baritone hailing from Suffolk, Virginia celebrated for vivid vocal storytelling across opera, art song, musical theater, and contemporary music. Recent engagements include performances with Virginia Opera, Heartbeat Opera, and Brooklyn Art Song Society. Upcoming appearances include house debuts with Opera Philadelphia and Annapolis Opera, a role debut as Dandini in Cinderella with Salt Marsh Opera, and returns to Brooklyn Art Song Society, Pittsburgh Opera, and the Marlboro Music Festival.
Brandon's work spans opera, concert, and new music stages across the country, including appearances with Santa Fe Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Utah Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, California Symphony, Cape Symphony, and White Snake Projects. He has received national recognition from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, Gerda Lissner Foundation, Duncan Williams Voice Competition, Mondavi Center Young Artist Competition, Orpheus National Music Competition, and the East Bay Opera League Young Artist Competition.
